Robert Batty is a serial entrepreneur currently Executive Chairman of Forensic Logic, an information sharing and security company he co-founded in 2003 and built into the largest repository of local law enforcement data and crime analytics in the country serving several thousand local, state and federal law enforcement agencies by making many thousands of sensitive but unclassified data sources.
Prior to the founding of Forensic Logic, Mr, Batty led the sales and marketing team of Curl Corporation, an MIT DARPA spin-off founded by the Tim Berners-Lee, the founder of the World Wide Web, to commercialize a new Internet programming platform including programming language, development tools, runtime environment and application libraries. Curl was sold to Sumitomo Corporation in Japan.
Mr Batty has held developed several ventures and has held executive positions in sales, marketing and finance with leading institutions.
Mr. Batty is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police Forensics Technology Committee that advises law enforcement on how best to optimize technology to solve crime.
Mr. Batty is founder and CEO of Emergex, Inc, a 30-year consulting organization that assists companies during their growth stages.
Mr. Batty is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Harvard Business School.
